b-SHAKE- A grunged post punk alt rock feast. From Belgium, are coming over to film their new video and to make their London debut and want to film part of their video in The Dublin castle. So come along and be a star dahlink…. Incubus is a good point to start influences wise..

LITHIUM- Hartlepool based space punk merchants, big U2 type soundscapes with Dovesy intensity , but the overall sound is a crunching punk rock. It’s Muse via the Sex Pistols! Foo Fighters via Blur. A mishmash but they make IT THEIR OWN.

THE SPINLORDS OF SPINTONIA- It’s like an epileptic fit they say, and believe me it is… there’s some Queen in here and definitely some Frank Zappa… it’s mental though… You can also detect The Darkness in terms of schlock rock irony, but overall this band are just so eclectic and bizarre but with all commercial considerations still covered… I think we could have some contenders here…

EL SCHLONG- And you thought big hairy rock was no longer valid- this ace bill is started up by this here El Schlong…So they are sort of called The Cock…hmm, nice…comedic spacehead metal that is most enjoyable….gets dark and dirty in equal degree and has an irreverent playful vibe oft missing in the genre. Indulge in some quasi Mediteranean two stepping prior to indulging in out and out hardcore mayhem for instance. Also Poe like stories narrated over bitter edgy music with deranged voice. Then Floydy drifting singalongs! Got to London via New Zealand which probably explains something. A neat psych metal trio with a wayward approach- like a metal versh of Rudimentary Peni [ask a punk pensioner]. This one says yes yes yes…
