We’ve just received a phone call which mentioned that Télé Bruxelles will broadcast a report about b-SHAKE today on November 18 from 18:00 and later on. If you’re based in Brussels and have a TV, tune in to watch the news. This report has been produced in the famous Jet Studio of Rudy Coclet in Brussels by Pière Bodeau.
I know some won’t be able to watch it so we’ll try to come back as soon as possible with a podcast or something. Stay tuned.

Once again b-SHAKE has been selected by Deuce Management & Promotion to represent Belgium. The show is being broadcast on a number of stations around the world. Hope you’ll tune in. This 26th edition includes the following acts:
You read this right! b-SHAKE has been selected for Grammy Awards 2010! From more than 100 categories, b-SHAKE will be represented in two of these: “Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals” and “Best Rock Song” with one of the tracks from its last EP reTuned called “Venus”.
It’s an honor to be placed on the ballot and we need your help to get into the Final Top 5 Nominees. If you are a voting member of the Grammys, we ask for your consideration in voting for the band. If you know someone else who is casting their vote in this year’s Grammys, please forward the following information and ask for their vote on our behalf.
The Grammy ballots will arrive to all voting members this weekend and must be received by the Academy by October 9, so please pass the word on to people you know as soon as possible.

Sometimes people ask us how it all begins… How do we start creating our songs? Where the inspiration comes from? How do we transform this inspiration into ideas and afterward these ideas into complete songs? It’s not that simple to explain as the creative process may start with a simple melody in a head as well as with a drum bit played on a keyboard and the song may be developed in several completely different ways. “Foyer culturel” of ULB (Solboch) is keen to party again! This time a private showcase will be organized for arts history faculty students. Some of you remember the day b-SHAKE performed with a beautiful black girl in a wedding dress on bass. She almost missed the wedding of her sister to play with us (well actually to help us out). It was the last years Kampioenschap van Brussel championship edition and this day we found Rage, the actual bass player. So it was kind of a big day for b-SHAKE and there’s no better way to celebrate it than play at Het Kampioenschap Van Brussel again!
36 bands have been selected to perform during 6 days across Brussels. The complete list of bands as well as the complete 6 days schedule can be found here www.hetkampioenschapvanbrussel.be. All bands participating on this event can also be found on vi.be, new social media network which you can join as a band, DJ, promoter or fan to be able to interact with different acts.
